stuff.

okay so stuff happens.

life's been like a box of chocolates. you never know what you're gonna get. (thanks gump)

like a fluctuations of emotions.
wave after wave.
indecision and despair.
hope and solace.
happiness and freedom.

its the small things in life that we all should life for.

i guess sometimes when everything seems to be going wrong, it helps to look back on what has happened in my life.
so here i go:..

-tried and failed to pick up electric guitaring
-quit running
-lost a person who means the world to me
-saw my family drift and come together again even stronger
-pondered the existence of people on this green earth
-came somewhat closer to God
-found a niche in my life
-found a direction for my life
-made real friends
-found the best parents i could ever ask for
-learnt to appreciate the best parents i could ever ask for
-experienced love
-showed love
-started to try to enjoy the finer things in life
-found some stability in my life
-found out what it means to get high on happiness
-realised that people need people

and many more.. if i go on i probably wont need to sleep.

but i guess everything in that list has some significance to me and i'm thankful for it.

now sitting back in thinking about it, i guess i do have a lot to be thankful for. for things that i still have, not be upset about things i dont have. because there's someone else out there who's probably worse off than me.

anyway thats all for tonight.

gd luck to Balestier people on the week of prayer preparations.

cheerio.

PS: the reason i hung up my running shoes is coz i've had enough of running under constraints and around a stupid track. after a while it feels like a hamster on a treadmill. and anyway i've got better things to do with my life than prove to people how fast i am or whatever.
