okay so here's the first post at my new address. to friends pls link me yeah? thx.


holidays have been interesting. lots of things happening.

just came back from port dickson church youth camp. it was alright. the very good and the very bad cancelled out to make it not bad. lol.

missed a whole 4 days of pool and soon to be 7 days. nvm next year play more often haha. pool, study and running. sounds like a plan to make next year pass faster. ;) i gotta keep working on my angles.

thought:

life is about relativity. unless you can embrace relativity, then you can embrace the finer curiosities of our world. for example, when u look at the stars at night, they are millions, maybe billions of light years away from earth, and the image of the stars you see is of them million of years ago. but they, like us, are in the same universe, and thus are experiencing 'real time' or similar time as earth. its just that we dont see it till millions of years later. so in actual fact, we wont really know if there are other beings on other planets till millions of years. voila!

now in comparion to more human examples, relativity is in play in almost every single aspect of our lives. how do we empathise if we dont realise that the perception of another person may be dissimilar to our own? how are we going to be objective in our judgements and decisions if we are not able to see how the situation affects other people, relative to the other person?

sometimes i think we all are so caught up with the "me", until we forget about the "them". something that do u do may seem acceptable to yourself, but in the eyes of someone else may be unacceptable.
